Welcome to The Briar Dance Academy!
It is the aim of this school to encourage all pupils to reach their full potential in each of the disciplines they choose to attend. At the same time, we feel it is very important that the children enjoy their classes and look forward to coming each week. It is hoped that all pupils steadily improve their dancing skill whilst also growing in confidence and having fun.
The School Studies R.A.D. Ballet and I.S.T.D Tap & Modern as well as Street Jazz, musical theatre and singing lessons.
Numbers in the classes are kept to a reasonable level in order that all the children receive the attention they deserve.
The Briar Dance Academy offers a two week trial period to prospective pupils in each of their chosen classes. Parents may watch the first of these initial classes. This is to ensure that both parents and children are happy before enrolling at the school.
Parents may also watch their child’s classes on the last week of each term.
Fees are kept to a minimum in the hope that as many children as possible can benefit from dance classes and experience the joy of dance.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the kitchen at The Briar Centre for those who wish to wait at the Centre for the duration of their child’s class.
It is sincerely hoped that all pupils will enjoy their time at The Briar Dance Academy.
