DATES TERM STARTS - 3rd January - 31st March Half term - 13th Feb - 20th Feb NO DANCING ON THE SATURDAY 21st JANUARY
2012 Performance
The school usually do a large dance show every two years However I have decided to put on a one off musical theatre production in the summer term 2012, this will only involve the pupils who attend non-syllabus classes (musical theatre & Jazz)
This will give the pupils the opportunity to not only dance on stage but to also improve their acting and singing. The rehearsals will be during jazz or musical theatre classes and will NOT interfere with their syllabus work.
I would like to make it clear that this is an amateur performance designed to improve confidence and all round performance skills
The show will take place at.....Camberley Theatre.. on the ...........8th July ......
There will be one performance and I will not require any help backstage so that all the parents will be able to watch!!!!
The Fee to be in the show will be £25.00 this includes rehearsal time, theatre hire, props, lighting, admin and all costumes - you will NOT be required to provide ANYTHING and there will be NO ADDED COST.
Please make sure you have learnt your words for these scenes they will be done without scripts!!!!!!!!!!! ( for most of these rehersals pupils are already there however there are a few extras for certain people)
If people do not know their words ( the odd mistake is perfectly acceptable) they will be replaced with pupils who will put the effort in to learn the words

Uniform
May I just remind everyone that if uniform is not purchased from Prickly Pear then it has not been pre- approved by Miss Claire or Miss Anna and you may not be allowed to wear it in exams or during the show so you purchase this at your own risk. Chris Loughton is able to accommodate all request for uniform and is happy to place special orders for people.
